Welcome. My name is Corbett Harrison, and I have been an educator and a teacher-trainer since 1991. I specialize in writing and differentiated instruction.

I serve Northern Nevada for nine months of the year (September-May), and during summers, I hire myself out to school districts around the country.

For the summer of 2010, I am completely "booked" and am pleased to be presenting in five states this year. If you would like to check my availability for the summer of 2011, please contact me using my contact page.

I enjoy playing webmaster in what little spare time I have.

I believe if every above average teacher in the world posted their one best original lesson on a website somewhere, then we could completely do away with the money-driven textbook companies and mediocre quick-fix programs that are sold to our schools and that currently drive the instruction of our less-creative teachers. I believe in the power of the Internet, and I wish more teachers would do what we're trying to do here in Northern Nevada: share our best stuff recklessly.

When I returned to the university to earn my Masters in Educational Technology, something about programming HTML code for the Internet caught my attention. I think I always knew I wanted to be in charge of a webpage. Some people accuse me of liking the title webmaster too much!

Over the years, I have begun and maintain a number of websites besides this one you're currently looking at. Below, you can find direct access to the websites I am "master" of!
